Who We Are
The Texas Coalition for Worksite Wellness is a program of the Texas Business Group on Health, one of the state’s leading voices on health care and business issues. Our Coalition and its members are dedicated to the vision that a healthier Texas workforce produces a stronger, fiscally healthier Texas economy poised to compete in the global marketplace.
The Texas Coalition for Worksite Wellness’ mission is to improve the health status of the Texas workforce by increasing the number of Texas businesses that incorporate employee wellness into their corporate business and health care strategies.
We will work to achieve our mission and vision by:
- Emphasizing and sharing the value of investing in the health of the Texas workforce. A healthy workforce is a company’s strongest asset and investments in prevention, wellness and disease management can deliver Return on Investment and improved health outcomes;
- Highlighting and recognizing positive, innovative solutions to challenges inherent in our current acute care oriented health care system; and
- Driving opinion among employers and state policymakers toward achieving our vision.
About the Texas Business Group on Health
